I feel so blissful!

The one thing people appreciate (or get nagged) about me is that I am exhaustive planner. Today, I know what I have to do in the next 3 weeks. Ironically, the guy is the most unplanned, unorganized fellow I have ever met. Most of the days when I ask “what time will you be free in the evening?” He says “between 6-9 pm.” I am like half the world gets free during that time!! I can understand if once or twice he doesn’t know his schedule. But EVERY single day? How will I live when I don’t know what I will do every day in the evening? *freaking out*
Anyways, what happened yesterday was out of the world!! It was my MIL’s B’day. While we were waiting for the guy’s cousins to come from their respective offices for the B’day celebration, he got all serious saying open an excel sheet, let’s make a to-do list. I just couldn’t believe what I heard!! Finally all my efforts were paid off. I am so damn sure he will never open that sheet again but it surely got a smile to my face when I thought about it while going to bed. J

  1. I can't believe it! My fiance does the SAME thing :) I'm so glad I'm not alone in this!!!
Atleast your boy gives you a time frame of 6-9 pm. Mine usually says "I'll be free in the evening" or "at night"...ummm...hello?! What does that even mean?!?!
Anyway, I am more used to it now. It has taken a long, long time but we understand each other way better now. He knows he needs to be a BIT planned sometimes, and I know I need to go with the flow sometimes. It's fun to see how people adapt over a period of time to adjust with each other. And honestly, it's good to maintain a balance rather than being on extremes - like extremely planned, or extremely laid back. Middle ground is always better I feel, so I'm glad everyone learns so much from these tiny annoying habits :)

    1. Absolutely! My guy actually lives his life when I am busy "planning" mine. Thank god I have him. Now my planning will be put to some use!

  2. Omg - I can totally relate to this - I'm going through the same exact thing! Maybe this happens to all brides and grooms. My guy simply does not understand the need for a lot of things like when I was lecturing him about hiring a packager for the Sagan to wrap the gifts. He was like... but it's just the wrapper! Lol - but yeah thank goodness for his impulsiveness...we've done a lot of dumb but awesome things thanks to that!
